My Saturday Night

Last night, I met up with one of my online friends for a meal. It was great. We had a good giggle, talked about our writing and favourite TV shows as well as our families. She brought along a friend and he was a giggle too. So it shows that sometimes taking the risk is totally worth it.

Once I'd finished with these guys at the restaurant, I went to my friend's house because she was throwing a party. I'd stopped drinking by half past ten because I knew that I needed to take it slow as I also have a 21st birthday part tonight so I didn't want to be plootered. I got there and everyone was wrecked, including my lovely ex-flatmate James. It was a good laugh and eventually James, Shonar and I walked from her house to the 24 hour shop so they could buy smokes before walking back to the halls where James and I live because Shonar has a crush on James and was kind of hoping that he'd notice.

Sadly, James didn't notice but all James' friends did. When James left the room to go to bed, his friend turned round and asked how long she'd loved him for. It was awkward for poor Shonar. Bless her.

Well we got to our bed at 0500 and I am so tired now, it's unbelievable and every time I remember that in a few hours I have to go back out for a party, I want to cry fat embarrassing tears. What happened to the girl that used to party every night?

After tonight, I'm detoxing. A month that is alcohol free.
